I am not too sure how well I write to express but I am sure it won't be that bad either.

This blog is a wish and a way of expressing myself and my simple life. And. my life is all about fashion, food, and travel, So I will write on these elements and share my journey with you all.

Fashion for all love of clothes and accessories. I have always loved dressing up. And my style statement is more of a comfort yet stylish.

Food cause I believe that 'we live to eat'. Love experimenting and trying new cuisine. Also, bar and restaurant hopping is my hobby.

And travel as after working hard for months (Ohh mine is every two months) a small leisure trip is a necessity. I feel travel gives you a chance to explore a new place along with your inner self.

Monsoon Trek - Lohagad Fort

As monsoon arrives Mumbaikars plans a day trip to waterfalls or forts/hills. Monsoon is the best season for the trek as you get a feeling of walking into the clouds.There are quite a few forts nearby Mumbai for one day trek but if you have never trekked you probably need to start off with the easiest fort/hill. We (me & my friends) too planned a trek to this beautiful fort near Lonavala named Lohagad. It is considered as the easiest of all and it hardly takes an hour and a half to two hours to get to the top of the fort. This iron fort has a beautiful structure and under heavy monsoon rain, the plateau on the fort becomes misty and cold. Sadly it didn't rain during our visit but it was only cloudy. So overall it was a pleasant weather for a trekking day. Other side of the city - Hidden Monetary Museum

Mumbai - this city can never stop surprising me. I have lived 24 years in this city, visited museum like Bhau Daji lad museum, Prince of Wales museum. But to my surprise, there is a monetary museum at P.M road, Fort. My mom had her old office here, so been in that area a lot of times and never noticed the Museum. Recently was searching some interesting places to visit in Mumbai I came across RBI Monetary Museum. And was super curious to see what it has to offer. One Sunday afternoon went there, and it was closed as it was a public holiday. It is generally open on Sundays. So next attempt was a Saturday, and I was just in time as it shuts at 5:15 PM. So I was asked to keep my bag and phone in the locker room next to museum. By passing through a strict checking I enter the museum. For love of Museum - Aga khan Palace

I have this weird love for Museums and historical monuments. All cities I visit, I make it a point I visit the museum if there is one. On my recent visit to Pune - a city of Maratha history and heritage. I decided to ditch the usual tourist spots. I visited this place called Aga Khan Palace. Its palace turned Museum. In 1969, Aga Khan Palace was donated to the Indian people by Aga Khan IV as a mark of respect to Gandhi and his philosophy. Today the palace houses a memorial to Gandhi where his ashes are kept (some part of ashes other is at Raj Ghat, Delhi). The palace is headquarters of the Gandhi National Memorial Society. During independence movement Gandhiji, his wife Kasturba and personal assistant Mahadev Desai were interned here. Room on the ground floor is occupied with the picture and personal belongings of Gandhiji and Kasturba Gandhi.
