Other side of the city - A day from Victorian Era

Mumbai...A city that never sleeps, a city which is home to Bollywood and to people from all over the country . This very own city of ours has a huge history of art and culture. People come here to live their dreams and make a life, and get lost in the speed of the city. But Mumbai has a lot more to offer. Ask this to a person who comes to visit Mumbai as tourist, and he'll tell you what a real Mumbai is. In this series I would be visiting such conventional places in Mumbai and giving it a fresh perspective. Starting with Museums and art gallery. So first I visited this beautiful Victorian style Museum - Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum is one of the oldest Museum in India. And it dates back to 1872. Though initial establishment of this Museum was made in 1855 by Lord Elphinstone . The  committee formed for this Museum included; Bhau Daji Lad, Sir J.J and many more. The Museum was initially known as Victoria and Albert Museum. And was renamed after Dr. Bhau Daji Lad in 1975. And...
